សោភា មានបទពិសោធន៍ការងារប្រមាណ ២០ ឆ្នាំក្នុងតួនាទីជាអ្នកគ្រប់គ្រងជាន់ខ្ពស់ក្នុងវិស័យឧស្សាហកម្ម ផ្សេងៗដូចជា TELCO, FMCG, វិស័យបដិសណ្ឋារកិច្ច, អង្គការក្រៅរដ្ឋាភិបាលអន្តរជាតិ, តុលាការអន្តរជាតិ ព្រមទាំងជាសាស្ត្រាចារ្យនៅសាកលវិទ្យាល័យមួយចំនួនផងដែរ ការណ៍នេះបានអនុញ្ញាតឱ្យគាត់មានចំណេះដឹងជ្រៅជ្រះអំពីបរិយាកាសធុរកិច្ចនៅកម្ពុជា។
សោភា បានធ្វើការនៅក្នុងឧស្សាហកម្មទូរគមនាគមន៍ឈានមុខគេមួយក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ដែលលោក
បានរៀបចំយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រធុរកិច្ចសម្រាប់រដ្ឋាភិបាល និងដៃគូខាងក្រៅ។ លោកបានផ្លាស់ប្តូរពី ក្រុមហ៊ុន
ភេសជ្ជៈឈានមុខគេមួយលើពិភពលោក បន្ទាប់ពីលោកបានប្រកបការងារនៅទីនោះអស់រយៈពេល ១៣ ឆ្នាំ។ នាពេលនោះ លោក គឺជានាយកផ្នែកច្បាប់ និងកិច្ចការសាធារណៈប្រចាំប្រទេស រយៈពេល ៦ ឆ្នាំ។ ក្នុងសមត្ថភាពនេះ លោកបានដឹកនាំ និងចូលរួមអនុវត្តដោយជោគជ័យនូវគម្រោងវិនិយោគវាលបៃតង ដោយមានទំហំទឹកប្រាក់ ១០០ លានដុល្លារសហរដ្ឋអាមេរិក ដោយលោកទទួលបន្ទុកផ្នែក អាជ្ញាប័ណ្ណច្បាប់ និងអាជ្ញាប័ណ្ណសាធារណៈ ក្នុងនោះក៏រួមបញ្ជូលផ្នែកការលើកទឹកចិត្តនៃពន្ធ, ការរៀបចំដាក់សម្ពោធ, ការដឹកនាំ IMCR (ការគ្រប់គ្រងឧប្បត្តិហេតុ និងការដោះស្រាយវិបត្តិ) និងការសម្របសម្រួលជាមួយភាគីពាក់ព័ន្ធ។ ជាងនេះទៅទៀត ជាមួយនិងចក្ខុវិស័យដើម្បីឆ្ពោះទៅសម្រេចអោយបានជា ក្រុមហ៊ុនដែលគួរឱ្យគោរពបំផុតក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា លោកបានកសាង និងមានការប្រាស្រ័យទាក់ទងល្អ ក្នុងនាមជាសមាជិក
ធុរកិច្ចល្អ ដែលអាចឆ្លុះបញ្ជាំងបានតាមរយៈ ជាក្រុមហ៊ុនដែលមានការអនុលោមភាពតាមបទដ្ឋានគតិយុត្តច្បាប់ ជាមួយនិងការសម្រេចបានពានរង្វាន់ពាណិជ្ជករឆ្នើម និងពានរង្វាន់ពន្ធមាស ក៏ដូចជាការចុះអនុស្សរណៈយោគយល់គ្នាជាមួយស្ថាប័នសាធារណៈជាច្រើនដូចជា ក្រសួងសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងហិរញ្ញវត្ថុ, ក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម, អង្គភាពប្រឆាំងអំពើពុករលួយ, ក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន និងក្រសួងឧស្សាហកម្ម វិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ បច្ចេកវិទ្យា និងនវានុវត្តន៍។ គួរកត់សម្គាល់ថា លោកបានចាត់វិធានការយ៉ាងសកម្ម នៅក្នុងផ្នែកដូចជាពន្ធដារ អគ្គិសនី និងការគេចពន្ធ។ លើសពីនេះ លោកក៏បានចូលរួមចំណែកយ៉ាងច្រើនក្នុងការអភិវឌ្ឍ ធនធានមនុស្ស និងកសាងវប្បធម៌ចែករំលែកចំណេះដឹងនៅក្នុងក្រុមហ៊ុន តាមរយៈតួនាទីរបស់លោកក្នុងផ្នែកធនធានមនុស្ស។
លោកបានបម្រើការជាសមាជិកក្រុមប្រឹក្សាភិបាលនៃ AmCham ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា អស់រយៈពេល ៣ឆ្នាំកន្លះ ក្នុងចំណោមនោះ លោកជាអនុប្រធានរយៈពេល ១ ឆ្នាំ និងជាសមាជិកនៃក្រុមការងារ PPP ។
មុនពេលចូលបម្រើការងារក្នុងឧស្សាហកម្ម FMCG លោក សោភា ធ្លាប់ដឹកនាំនាយកដ្ឋានធនធានមនុស្សនៃ សណ្ឋាគារអន្តរជាតិដ៏ល្បីមួយនៅកម្ពុជា ដោយបានកសាងទំនាក់ទំនងដ៏ល្អ និងរឹងមាំក្នុងអំឡុងពេលកូដកម្មក្នុងឧស្សាហកម្មបដិសណ្ឋារកិច្ចនៅកម្ពុជា និងបានអភិវឌ្ឍសមត្ថភាពមនុស្ស និងផែនការបន្តបន្ទាប់ ក្នុងនោះមានការធ្វើមូលដ្ឋានីយកម្មនៃ តួនាទីជនបរទេសមួយចំនួន។
សោភា បានបញ្ចប់ថ្នាក់អនុបណ្ឌិតច្បាប់ពីសាកលវិទ្យាល័យ Lumiere Lyon 2 ប្រទេសបារាំង ឆ្នាំ ២០០១-២០០៣។
Sophea has earned around 20 years of work experience in senior management roles in various industries namely TELCO, FMCG, Hospitality industry, International NGO and International Court as well as a lecturer of universities hence it makes him to have a very deep knowledge of the business environment in Cambodia.
Sophea was working for a leading Telco industry in Cambodia leading the business strategy for government and external affairs, moving from a world leading beverages company for 13 years amongst which he was the Country Director of Legal and Public Affairs for 6 years. Within this capacity, he led and took part in successfully implementing the green field investment project, 100 millions USD, specifically he was in charge of legal licenses and social licences including the tax incentives, grand opening, IMCR (Incident Management and Crisis Resolution) lead and stakeholder engagement. Moreover, with the vision toward the most respected company in Cambodia, he has built and well communicated the good corporate citizen including the most compliant company with achievement of best trader and gold tax awards, MoUs with many public institutes namely Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Commerce, Anti-Corruption Unit, Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation. Remarkably, he intervened very well in the areas of, such as, excise tax, electricity and smuggling. In addition, he had also massively contributed to the people’s development and built the sharing knowledge culture in the company through his role in the Human Resources function.
He has served as a member of board of directors of AmCham, Cambodia, for 3.5 years amongst which, he was vice president for a year and member of PPP working groups.
Before joining FMCG industry, Sophea used to lead the Human Resources Department of the well known international hotel chain in Cambodia, building a good and solid industrial relation during the strike period within the hospitality industry in Cambodia and developed people capability and succession plan including localisation of some expat roles.
Sophea holds the master degree of law from University Lumiere Lyon 2, France, 2001-2003.
